Anthony Bonner, Rector of Llanwenarth left by his Will dated 17th March 1661. the sum of £2 pounds per year as a rent charge, for ever, to the poor pf the parishes of Lanwenarth and Aberystruth out of lands in Lanwenarth to be paid to the poor in conjunction with his Heirs - Overseers of the said parish. And John Bonner, Rector of Lanvenar by his Will dated 28th July 1665 left a further sum of £2 per year to be paid in with his Heirs & Assigns , to the poor of Lanwenarth & Aberystruth.
